Here, a fully water-based inkjet-printable ink is introduced based on nitrogen-doped graphene acid (NGA) hosting atomically dispersed Cu centers (NGA-Cu-ink). The ink enables digitally controlled, spatially defined deposition and fabrication of low-cost ($0.04 per sensor), fully inkjet-printed sustainable electrodes on paper. A comparison of NGA functionalized with different SA dopants (Cu, Mn, Fe, Ce) identifies a strong dopant-dependent electrochemical response, with Cu uniquely enhancing the analyte signal while other dopants suppress it, demonstrating that SA identity is a decisive design parameter in printed sensing interfaces profiling sensitivity and selectivity. The functional role of the NGA support is to provide dense anchoring sites (nitrogen and carboxylate groups) that stabilize atomically dispersed metal centers and create adsorption- and electron-transfer–active microenvironments. The NGA-Cu-ink yields enhanced dopamine oxidation, enabling quantitative detection on fully printed devices (limit of detection 9.7 µM; linear range 50–400 µM) and printed-on-electrode platforms (10.6 µM), while maintaining &lt;10% signal variation over 11 weeks. The approach establishes a general route to single-atom graphene-based inks for scalable, reproducible, and low-material-consumption manufacturing of advanced electrochemical sensors.</p>

<p><strong>Polymers are the material of choice in a wide range of applications such as packaging, construction, transportation, electrical and electronic equipment, agriculture, and medical and sports. The versatility of polymer materials is due to the fact that the physicochemical properties of polymers can be tailored by carefully adjusting the composition and molecular weight distribution of the molecules that make up the polymer.</strong></p>
<p>Due to the potentially large number of different polymer substances on the market and because polymer molecules are generally considered to be of low concern owing to their high molecular weight, this group of substances has been exempted from registration and evaluation under REACH. However, analysts will face new challenges with the introduction of polymer REACH.</p>

His mean interests are; developing alternative methods in data processing for both HPLC and GPC (mainly handling nonlinear detectors), putting 2D chromatography (HPLCxGPC) to its limits, searching for stable conditions for doing proper GPC, unrevealing (MALDI) MS data of copolymers and hyphenation techniques like GPC-IR. His main drive is forming the bridge between theory and the industrial praxis.</p>

<p><strong>It is of utmost importance to ensure that the analytical results from residue testing for food products are reliable. “False positive” findings of hazardous residues in food result in safe product being rejected and leading to potential huge financial and juristic implications. “False negative” findings result in contaminated product being on the shelf and increase the risk of a foodborne disease. The reliability of testing results depends on the type of methodology and the performance criteria. Identification is the important step before a residue is reported.</strong></p>
<p>Procedures for identification should be rigorous and depend on sensitivity and selectivity of the MS techniques. The causes of “false positive” and “false negative” derived from both QqQ-MS and HR-MS detection will be discussed. The approaches of establishing a “fit-for-purpose” methodology and identification criteria for both QqQ-MS and HR-MS will be introduced.</p>
<p>This will help the testing labs build the protocols/procedures to follow to reduce the incidence of “false detections”; help set up the criteria for identification; and help deliver the highly accurate results. </p>
