The Aura CL System is the first dedicated platform designed for rapid identification, counting, and characterization of subvisible particles in cell therapy development and manufacturing. Unlike traditional methods, it can reliably distinguish viable cells, unwanted particles, protein aggregates, and manufacturing-related contaminants such as Dynabeads™, while simultaneously providing cell counts, viability information, and sample purity assessment.
The system combines Backgrounded Membrane Imaging (BMI), Fluorescence Membrane Microscopy (FMM), and Side Illumination Membrane Imaging (SIMI) technologies to deliver fast, automated particle analysis without subjective operator interpretation. Through fluorescence labeling, users can clearly differentiate cellular from non-cellular particles, protein from non-protein aggregates, and various cell populations within complex samples.
Requiring only 5 µL of sample, Aura CL supports high-throughput screening and can analyze up to 96 samples in less than one hour, making it an ideal solution for cell therapy development, manufacturing, and quality control workflows.
