Features

Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS50 FTIR Spectrometer

The Thermo Scientific™ Nicolet™ iS50 is a highly flexible FTIR spectrometer designed as a comprehensive materials analysis platform. It enables a wide range of measurements within a single system—from routine material identification to advanced multi-technique analysis.

Its modular architecture allows seamless expansion with Raman, NIR, or GC-IR modules, enabling multiple analytical techniques without reconfiguring the instrument. The Automated Beamsplitter Exchanger (ABX) enables switching between spectral ranges without manual intervention or disruption of optics or purge conditions.

The system supports fully automated workflows through Touch Point operation, allowing setup, data collection, and reporting with a single click. An optional built-in diamond ATR module enables immediate measurement without sample preparation while keeping the main sample compartment available for other analyses.

The Nicolet iS50 is ideal for pharmaceuticals, forensics, polymers, food analysis, and general laboratories where speed, reproducibility, and analytical flexibility are essential.
