When the evidence is microscopic, every detail matters.

Join us to explore how the Thermo Scientific™ Nicolet™ RaptIR™ X FTIR Microscope combines high-resolution visual and infrared microscopy with flexible analytical workflows to help investigate trace evidence, foreign particles, contaminants, and complex materials.

See how the RaptIR X microscope helps you move from locating areas of interest to revealing their chemical composition using FTIR microscopy. Through forensic and pharmaceutical examples, we’ll explore analytical approaches for identifying unknown materials and gaining greater insight from challenging samples.

These techniques and perspectives are presented in this webinar:

  • Identify microscopic particles, contaminants, and unknown materials
  • Characterize fibers, paints, polymers, layered materials, and pharmaceutical samples
  • Explore FTIR microscopy techniques including ATR, mapping, and polarized microscopy
  • See how integrated hardware and software workflows can simplify analysis from sample visualization to chemical identification

Who should attend

  • Forensic scientists
  • Pharmaceutical scientists
  • QA/QC professionals
  • Failure analysis teams
  • Materials scientists
  • Microscopy and spectroscopy users

See the evidence. Reveal the chemistry. Go beyond the visible.
