ProtiFi S-Trap 96-well Mini Plate for Proteomics Sample Preparation

ProtiFi S-Trap™ 96-well Mini Plate is a 96-well sample-preparation plate designed for parallel processing of protein samples prior to LC-MS/MS proteomics. The Mini format processes 100–300 µg of total protein per sample and uses S-Trap™ technology to combine SDS-compatible solubilization, reduction, alkylation, protein trapping, contaminant removal, and enzymatic digestion directly within the plate. 

S-Trap™ Technology

Samples are first solubilized and denatured in an SDS-containing solution. Following reduction and alkylation, the sample is acidified to pH ≤1 and combined with methanolic Binding/Wash Solution.

Denatured proteins are trapped within the S-Trap™ matrix while detergents, salts, buffers, and other interfering components are removed during washing. Protease is then added directly to each well, and digestion takes place within the matrix. The resulting peptides are eluted into a 96-well collection plate for downstream LC-MS/MS analysis.
