The Thermo Scientific™ SpeedVac™ SRF110 Refrigerated Centrifugal Vacuum Concentrator is designed for the gentle concentration and evaporation of heat-sensitive biological samples, including proteins, enzymes, peptides, and other biomolecules. Combining centrifugal force, vacuum, and precise temperature control, the system efficiently removes solvents while helping preserve sample integrity and minimize the risk of thermal degradation.
The SRF110 is particularly suitable for the evaporation of non-aggressive, aqueous-based solvents, buffers, and HPLC fractions. Programmable temperature control allows the chamber temperature to be maintained before, during, and after a run, providing greater flexibility for temperature-sensitive applications. The operating temperature can be set from –4 °C to 100 °C in 1 °C increments.
Its modular design allows the system to be configured according to individual laboratory requirements. Users can select from compatible Thermo Scientific vacuum pumps, vapor traps, tubing, rotors, and other accessories to build a customized vacuum concentration setup. The SRF110 features a self-aligning, quick-release rotor mechanism, and the RF132 hexagonal rotor is supplied with the concentrator. Additional rotor options are available for different sample formats and capacities.

Two kit configurations are available:
- The SRF110P1 modular configuration includes the refrigerated SRF110 concentrator, RF132 rotor, VLP120-115 oil pump, RVT450-115 vapor trap, universal tubing, 4 L glass condensation flask with cap, and CryoCool™ heat-transfer fluid.
- The SRF110P2 semi-integrated configuration combines the SRF110 and RF132 rotor with the UVS450 Universal Vacuum System, universal tubing, condensation flask, cap, and CryoCool™ fluid.
