Features

Organomation ROT-X-TRACT-S Soxhlet extractor

Soxhlet extraction is ideal for extracting soluble analytes from a solid sample into an organic solvent. Unlike traditional wire or sand baths which are used to heat receiving flasks, the ROT-X-TRACT-S uses a water steam bath which provides gentle even heat to delicate samples.

The ROT-X-TRACT-S rotary Soxhlet extractors can accommodate up to 8 or 10 Soxhlet extractors. The bath cover disc holes can accommodate round sample flasks from 125 ml-1 L. Models 13070 and 13090 can accommodate smaller 250 mL flasks, while model 13008 can accommodate larger 500 mL flasks. A wide range of sample sizes and quantities make this instrument ideal for Soxhlet extraction of samples in any lab.

Specification

Model 13070 – 8 Position, 37 mm Extractors

Ideal for labs using 250 mL round-bottom flasks, this model features a medium-size 12-inch ID water bath (Model 9125) and supports GS3137 or GS3129 glassware.

  • Overall Dimensions: 18 × 16 × 34 in (46 × 41 × 86 cm)
  • Heating Power: 900 W
  • Temperature Control: Dial thermostat with ±2 °C accuracy
Model 13090 – 10 Position, 37 mm Extractors

This high-throughput option also works with 250 mL flasks and uses a larger 16-inch ID bath (Model 16165) to accommodate 10 samples simultaneously.

  • Overall Dimensions: 24 × 19 × 34 in (61 × 48 × 86 cm)
  • Heating Power: 1600 W
  • Temperature Control: Dial thermostat with ±2 °C accuracy
Model 13008 – 8 Position, 50 mm Extractors

For larger sample volumes, Model 13008 supports 500 mL round-bottom flasks and includes a 16-inch bath with higher accuracy temperature control. It uses GS3150 glassware and larger 55/50 extractor joints for robust handling of bigger samples.

  • Overall Dimensions: 24 × 19 × 37 in (61 × 48 × 94 cm)
  • Heating Power: 1600 W
  • Temperature Control: Dial thermostat with ±0.5 °C accuracy
