On October 27, Abbie Breton, Applications Development Manager, will present the next edition of Tosoh Tuesday, a webinar series held by Chromatography Experts.  Tianyu Li, Applications Scientist - GPC/SEC Instruments at Tosoh Bioscience, will present the next edition of Tosoh Tuesday, a webinar series held by Chromatography Experts.

This webinar will introduce a novel multi-angle light scattering (MALS) approach that uses a 505 nm green laser independently of the refractive index (RI) detector wavelength, enabling significantly greater light scattering sensitivity than conventional red-laser systems. By using a shorter-wavelength green laser, this new approach generates approximately three times greater scattering intensity, improving the characterization of challenging samples and supporting more efficient method development. To validate the methodology, molecular weight measurements obtained using green-laser MALS were compared with results from universal calibration with online viscometry.

Attendees will learn how independent-wavelength MALS combines enhanced sensitivity with accurate molecular weight and size characterization, expanding analytical capabilities for both polymer and biomolecular applications.

After the webinar, ask your questions during the live Q and A session.
