Join us for the first part of the LC troubleshooting webinar series. You’ll learn how to resolve column-related issues and how to optimise column maintenance.Go to the webinar

Most LC problems trace back to either the column or the instrument.
Two areas in particular are often misunderstood: how much instrument void volume affects results, and how to understand if the root cause is the instrument or the column. As a result, columns get blamed for instrument issues, or expected to fix gaps in method development they can't solve.
This first session of our LC Troubleshooting series draws that line clearly, covering how to keep a column in top condition, what problems a column can and can't cause, and how void volume drives peak width — giving you a practical basis for systematic troubleshooting.
