Presenter: José Juan Rivero (Product Specialist GC and GC/MS, Agilent Technologies)

José Rivero holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Extremadura and a Master’s degree in Environmental Auditing from the University of Málaga. He has more than 30 years of experience in chromatography and mass spectrometry, including over 20 years with Varian Inc. and Agilent Technologies. Currently, he serves as a Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Product Specialist at Agilent Technologies. In this role, he promotes the application of the latest analytical technologies across a wide range of industries, while identifying emerging market trends, new business opportunities, and innovative applications in analytical chemistry.

Presenter: Michael Soll (Business Development Manager, Frontier Laboratories Europe)

Michael Soll studied biology and received his PhD in 1993 at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. He has over 25 years of experience in business development, marketing and sales at various companies active in analytical instrumentation and analytical services in Europe. His functional experience included marketing, application and sales of LC- and GC-coupled mass spectrometry, MALDI-TOF MS and chromatographic tools. At the end of 2014, he joined Frontier Laboratories, a global leading company in GC/MS coupled analytical pyrolysis. Here, he is managing and supporting distribution partners and supports users of analytical pyrolysers in Europe for technical applications.
