Restek: A New Option for the Analysis of Underivatized Amino Acids by LC-MS/MS
  • Learn a fast, direct method to analyzing underivatized amino acids in human plasma.

  • Observe the robust separation of critical amino acid isobars (especially leucine-isoleucine-alloisoleucine).

  • Understand a new, simplified approach to analyzing underivatized amino acids in infant formula.

We developed a fast, direct method for LC-MS/MS analysis of amino acids in plasma using a simple, derivatization-free sample preparation procedure and a hybrid retention Raptor Polar X column. We used a simpler approach to directly measure underivatized amino acids in infant formulas—following a single-step sample preparation procedure—with a Raptor Polar X column paired with LC-MS/MS.
