Features

The PURELAB Quest by ELGA is a versatile laboratory water purification system that provides three quality grades of water—Type I (ultrapure), Type II (pure) and Type III (RO-permeate)—from a single input feed. The system features fast dispense rates, intuitive operation, IoT connectivity and compact design for space-constrained labs.

Key Features

  • Supplies three water grades: Type I, Type II and Type III in one system.
  • Rapid dispensing: up to ~1.2 L/min.
  • Compact footprint: width approx. 232 mm, height ~510 mm; wall-mountable to free bench space.
  • Smart monitoring & connectivity: IoT-enabled remote monitoring, USB data export, real-time purity sensors.
  • Sustainable construction: >85% reclaimed materials, long-life consumables.

Technical Specifications

For Type I (Ultrapure) water:
  • Resistivity: 18.2 MΩ·cm @ 25 °C
  • TOC (Quest UV version): <5 ppb
  • Bacterial TVC: <0.1 cfu/mL when point-of-use filters used
  • Dispense flow rate: up to 1.2 L/min
For Type II (Pure) water:
  • Resistivity: >1 MΩ·cm @ 25 °C
  • TOC: <50 ppb
  • Bacterial TVC: <100 cfu/mL
For Type III (RO-permeate) water:
  • Conductivity: <20 μS/cm
  • TOC: <200 ppb
  • Bacterial TVC: <1000 cfu/mL

General specifications:

  • Recommended maximum daily withdrawal: Type I/II up to ~10 L/day; Type III up to ~30 L/day.
  • Feed water conductivity: ≤2000 µS/cm (higher conductivity may reduce consumable lifetime)
  • Dimensions (W × H × D): approx. 232 mm × 510 mm × ~421 mm
  • Mounting: Bench or wall-mountable unit.

Applications

The PURELAB Quest is suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications including:

  • Ultrapure water for HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-OES, molecular biology workflows
  • Pure water for reagent & buffer preparation, general chemistry, histology
  • RO-permeate water for glassware rinsing, autoclave feed, and preliminary feed to Type I systems
