Agilent G7129-87201 is an original needle assembly designed for Agilent 1290 Infinity II and 1290 Infinity III Vialsampler modules. The needle is made of stainless steel and is intended for use with the G7129-87012 needle seat.
It is a service and replacement component used in the autosampler injection mechanism for sample aspiration and injection in analytical LC systems.
Function in the Autosampler
The needle forms part of the vialsampler injection mechanism and is used for:
- aspirating sample from a vial,
- transferring sample through the injection path,
- introducing sample into the LC system.
For correct operation, it is designed to be used with the matching G7129-87012 needle seat.
