The Konica Minolta CM-26dG is a portable sphere spectrophotometer with d:8° geometry designed for precise color and gloss measurement. It combines simultaneous SCI/SCE color measurement with an integrated ISO-compliant 60° gloss sensor, enabling both color and surface appearance to be evaluated with a single instrument. It is suitable for quality control, color development, production inspection, and digital color communication across global supply chains.
The instrument provides two measurement apertures, MAV 8 mm and SAV 3 mm, a spectral range of 360–740 nm, simultaneous SCI/SCE capability, and UV settings of 100%, 0%, or adjusted. An illuminated viewfinder supports accurate and repeatable positioning on the sample surface.
Color and Gloss Measurement
The CM-26dG combines two measurement functions in a single portable device.
- SCI or SCE color measurement: approx. 0.7 s
- SCI/SCE + gloss: approx. 1 s
- Minimum measurement interval:
- approx. 1.5 s for SCI/SCE
- approx. 2 s for SCI/SCE + gloss.

Configuration and Package Contents
- CM-26dG spectrophotometer with installed CM-A219 Bluetooth module.
- Original RRC1120 Li-Ion battery (3.70 V / 2000 mAh).
- Complete original black calibration station, including the white calibration plate, gloss calibration plate, and zero/black calibration cap. The serial number of the calibration station matches the instrument.
- MAV measurement aperture/ring installed on the instrument.
- USB connection cable and original AC power adapter with EU plug.
- Original factory inspection report (Konica Minolta Inspection Certificate).
- Robust original carrying case with custom-cut protective foam inserts.
- Package note: The set does not include the smaller interchangeable aperture/ring for SAV mode (3 mm). The instrument is fully equipped and ready for standard measurements in MAV mode (8 mm).
Current Condition
The instrument is operational, fully functional, and in excellent visual condition. It powers up without any issues, successfully completes the calibration procedure using the calibration station, and performs measurements correctly.
Its functionality has been physically tested. During a test measurement on a glass surface, the instrument produced logical and consistent physical values for both color and gloss, as shown in the attached display photographs.
After reset, the internal date displayed by the instrument shows the year 2014. Before deployment in an ISO/IATF-controlled environment, we recommend carrying out the standard periodic calibration.
