Ion Source Function

The HES is the region of the mass spectrometer where compounds entering from the GC column undergo electron ionization. The resulting ions are directed by the repeller and ion-optics system toward the mass analyzer.

Its optimized architecture is designed to improve the efficiency of ion generation and transmission, supporting high-sensitivity GC/MS operation.
