Features

The Agilent G3870-60301 is a genuine brazed GC/MS transfer line assembly designed for Agilent systems operating with electron ionization (EI). It forms the metallic section of the heated interface between the gas chromatograph and mass spectrometer, guiding the analytical GC column from the GC into the MS ion-source region. The assembly is intended as a service replacement for damaged, leaking, or refurbished transfer line interfaces.

Technical Specifications

  • Part Number: G3870-60301
  • Product Type: GC/MS transfer line weldment / braze assembly
  • Ionization Configuration: EI
  • Technique: GC/MS
  • Function: Metallic interface between GC column and MS analyzer

Compatibility

  • Agilent 7000B Triple Quadrupole GC/MS
  • Agilent 7000C Triple Quadrupole GC/MS
  • Agilent 7000D Triple Quadrupole GC/MS
  • Agilent 7250 GC/Q-TOF

For 7000C/7000D configurations, Agilent specifically describes G3870-60301 as an EI-only interface without JetClean. EI/CI or JetClean configurations use different transfer line assemblies.

For some 5973/5975/5977 systems, G3870-60301 can also be used as the metallic weldment when repairing an existing transfer line, while newer complete replacement transfer line assemblies use different part numbers. Exact compatibility should therefore be verified against the specific instrument model and configuration.
