The Agilent G2571-80000 is a high-energy dynode (HED) electron multiplier designed for Agilent 6400 Series (64XX) Triple Quadrupole LC/MS systems. Ions striking the high-energy dynode generate secondary electrons, which are subsequently amplified by the electron multiplier.

The off-axis detector design helps reduce the influence of neutral species and prevents ions from directly striking the electron multiplier surface.
