Features

The Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer G2939A is a microfluidics-based automated electrophoresis system designed for the analysis and quality control of DNA, RNA and proteins. The system performs electrophoretic separation on disposable microfluidic chips and uses laser-induced fluorescence detection for sensitive analysis of biomolecules.

The Bioanalyzer provides information on sample size, concentration and quality while requiring only small sample volumes. With compatible Agilent 2100 Expert software, results can be displayed as gel-like images, electropherograms and tabulated data. The G2939A configuration is designed specifically for electrophoretic assays.

Key Features

  • Automated electrophoretic analysis of DNA, RNA and proteins
  • Microfluidic chip-based electrophoresis
  • Laser-induced fluorescence detection
  • Sizing, quantification and quality assessment of biomolecules
  • Low sample volume requirement
  • Digital gel-like images, electropherograms and tabulated results
  • RNA integrity assessment using RIN
  • Compact benchtop design
