Vice President, R&D – Analytical Instrumentation
A manufacturer of well-known analytical technology is hiring a VP of R&D to join its executive team and lead NPI and innovation for complex analytical tools.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and execute a customer-driven R&D strategy
- Act as a true enterprise leader, contributing to company-wide strategy and growth
- Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing
- Build and scale a high-performing R&D organization
- Nurture effective and efficient leaders
- Represent the company with customers and industry partners
Candidate Qualifications
- Senior R&D / technology leader from the analytical instrumentation industry
- Proven track record building teams, developing talent, and leading change
- Strategic and commercial mindset
- Collaborative leadership style; comfortable working across the full business
- Technical background preferred (PhD is a plus!)
