 Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.
  • Ensure that test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.
  • Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s).  
  • Monitors multiple projects underway.
  • Prepare test reports and related documents.
  • Keeps current with industry technical developments and disseminates to the team, as necessary.  
  • Support the laboratory managers and team leaders with assignments of new projects to technicians based on competency.
  • Support the Austin team with coordination of testing activities.
  • Support the laboratory managers with tracking of team utilization and identify potential issues (technical, procedural, and commercial).

Qualifications

  • Four-year college Engineering degree, or other technical degree with relevant work experience
Reporting:
  • This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager
