Job Description
Core Responsibilities & Compliance
- Follow GMP, GLP, and ISO 17025 requirements, as applicable.
- Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, data integrity, and safety.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, client focus, and alignment with company values.
- Effectively prioritize work to meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
- Maintain required training and provide clear communication and feedback.
- Identify issues, determine root causes, and implement process improvements.
Laboratory Operations
- Perform complex and non-routine testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, GC-MS, ICP, mass spectrometry, wet chemistry, and specialized instrumentation.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, verify, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Execute testing with accuracy, precision, and sound laboratory practices.
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, protocols, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready laboratory work areas.
Method Development & Validation
- Support method development, transfer, validation, and verification activities.
- Draft and execute validation protocols and reports.
- Provide analytical support for validation studies and recommend technical improvements.
Documentation & Quality Systems
- Draft, revise, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and related documentation.
- Review and approve analytical data generated by other analysts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality system requirements.
Training & Collaboration
- Train and mentor new personnel.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties and support department objectives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other related discipline
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Gas Chromatography
