LECO Training Course Pegasus BT/BT4D

This training course provides all attendees with the information to use LECO Best Practices to operate and maintain their instrument. The primary focus will be maintenance, but we’ll cover other key topics such as: Theory; Daily Setup; Detection; Calibration; Software; Troubleshooting; and Automation.

We follow a fast-paced schedule that allows us to include hands-on opportunities, interactive activities, data processing, Q&A sessions, and much more!  This class also allows us flexibility to focus on any specific areas of the instrument that will benefit them.

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM Arrival at LECO EATC
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Training Session
  • Day 1 consist of an overview of ChromaTOF, how to collect data, how to create a AS, MS, GC method, how to peak find and library search, and how to create a TAF method.
  • incl. Coffee Breaks

Tuesday, October 21

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM Arrival at LECO EATC
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Training Session
  • Day 2 will consist of learning how to make a reference method, a quantitation method, a semi quant method, a retention index method, a retention index probe, and user libraries.
  • incl. Coffee Breaks and Lunch

Wednesday, October 22

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM Arrival at LECO EATC
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Training Session
  • Day 3 starts with a hands-on maintenance session of the Pegasus BT/BTX. At 12.00 AM the BT Training finishes.
  • After lunch we will start with the BT4D Exclusive Sessions: Tailored specifically for Pegasus BT4D users, these sessions will delve into advanced GCxGC topics, equipping you with specialized knowledge to optimize your analytical capabilities
  • On Day 3 we will cover introduction to GCxGC and GCxGC method parameter optimization.

Thursday, October 23

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM Arrival at LECO EATC
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Training Session
  • Day 4 will consist of data processing of GCxGC data including classification and quantitation workflow.
