Overview
The International Symposium on Separation Sciences (ISSS) is a prominent annual conference that brings together researchers, practitioners, and experts from various fields involved in separation sciences. This symposium focuses on advancements, innovations, and applications in techniques such as chromatography, electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, and related methodologies.
History
The International Symposium on Separation Sciences (ISSS) series started in 1990 in Bled (Slovenia) as the continuation of a series of local seminars and conferences held in Zagreb since 1967. The first six editions were alternatively organized in Slovenia and Croatia and the subsequent editions were held as annual international meetings in Central European Countries, under the auspicious of the Central European Group for Separation Sciences (CEGSS). The symposium traditionally offers an opportunity to scientist and practitioners of high-performance separation techniques, such as GS, HPLC and capillary electromigration techniques, to present and discuss the latest progresses related to all aspects of these separation techniques, their hyphenation to other separation methods or spectroscopic techniques, and their applications in scientific and industrial areas.
Objectives
- To present the latest research findings and technological advancements in separation sciences.
- To facilitate networking and collaboration among scientists, researchers, and industry professionals.
