ChromSolutions: Natural Gas Analyser C - Quick Reference Guide

There are various Natural Gas Analysers (NGAs) available to cater to different sample types and throughput requirements, whether in a lab, at-line, or in the field. NGAs are pre-configured 'turnkey' systems designed to comply with standard methods for determining the heating value of natural gases and related streams.

They can be customized to analyse additional components, such as sulphur compounds, ensuring suitability for downstream processes. These analysers utilize a proven multi-channel/multi-dimensional approach to determine the heating/calorific value of natural gas and quantify individual components.

NGA (System C) - Extended Analysis is a specialized system designed for analysing "rich" natural gas or natural gas liquid streams. It offers the capability to separate and quantify hydrocarbon components up to C16. Similar to System B, it can also measure oxygen and nitrogen, while detecting hydrogen sulphide at a sensitivity of approximately 100 ppm. The system is equipped with a 14-port valve and a 6-port valve. The 14-port valve allows simultaneous introduction of the sample stream to three independent columns, enabling automated detector switching for high sensitivity detection of all components of interest.
