Maintain assigned vehicle according to company expectations for cleanliness and maintenance.</li><li>Observe all OSHA safety requirements while adhering to the company health and safety policies; do not enter any confined space(s) without direct approval from upper management.</li><li>Fill out and maintain documentation/records related to field sampling activity. Approximately 75% of the role is dedicated to Sample Coordination activities and 25% to Environmental Monitoring activities.</strong></p><p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the administrative and technical aspects of laboratory operations and is looking to build a career in quality control laboratory.</p><h4><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h4><ul><li>Receive and inspect incoming product samples, verifying accuracy against client sample submission forms and identifying any discrepancies. Work with clients and Finance when discrepancies between quotes and received samples exist.</li><li>Accurately log and categorize samples in the sample logbook, create sample acknowledgement form, ensuring proper labeling and systematic tracking.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with the transition from a sample logbook to an electronic LIMS system for the receipt, acknowledgement and tracking of samples.</li><li>Organize and store samples securely while maintaining accessibility within the laboratory. Process internal sample requests by retrieving and distributing the required samples to the correct laboratory.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients regarding sample receipt, sample-related issues and required modifications.</li><li>Support Environmental Monitoring as needed such as water sampling, non-viable particulates, viable air, viable surfaces, and gas testing in cleanroom environments within the Manufacturing area at Client’s site, as per applicable standard operating procedures (SOP).</li><li>Operate monitoring equipment that includes but is not limited to Laser Particle Counter, Viable Air Sampler, Microscope, and pH meter.</li><li>Read EM (Environmental Monitoring) data and document results on relevant forms.</li><li>Participate in validation/verification of controlled environments such as cleanroom, and gowning qualification.</li><li>Record test results accurately and legibly on all documents.</li><li>Able to lift at least 50 lbs.</li><li>Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.</li><li>Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.</li><li>Drive own car for off-site work.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div></section><section><div><h4><strong>Qualifications</strong></h4></div><div><h5><strong>Must have:</strong></h5><ul><li><strong>1-3 years of experience in a laboratory testing environment.</strong></li><li><strong>Associate’s degree in scientific discipline. Description</strong></h4></div><div><p>The Laboratory Technician I, using general laboratory methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing America’s Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures, supports laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies.</p><h4><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></h4><ul><li>Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.</li><li>Performs sample preparation which may include, but is not limited to, a&nbsp;combination of the following methods:<ul><li>Aliquot samples</li><li>Spike and trace samples</li><li>Prepare reagents o Bottle samples</li><li>Prepare concentrations</li><li>Separation</li><li>Sonication</li><li>Liquid rack set up</li></ul></li><li>Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled.</li><li>Prepares general
