<h4>Your Role:</h4>
MilliporeSigma is looking for an Analytical Scientist to add to the team at our Cherokee site. In this role, you’ll be working in the Contract Testing, Development, and Manufacturing Organization (CTDMO) within the Life Sciences group of MilliporeSigma. This role will serve as an individual contributor in the Process and Analytical Development organization. You will be involved in working in a lab setting on analytical method development and optimization for external customers in the field of Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC). The role will require problem solving, working within project timelines, and contributing to documentation for method qualification and transfer into GMP manufacturing and quality control organizations.

<li>Perform hands-on work executing analytical methods.

<li>Qualify and transfer analytical methods into Quality Control to support GMP release testing.

<li>Document and communicate experimental results with strong customer-facing skills.

<li>Promptly deliver data, adhering to ALCOA+ principles for proper data documentation, and make data-driven decisions.

<li>Independent management of daily activities lead project initiatives and lead process improvement initiatives.

<li>Act as a mentor to less experienced scientists, evolving into an emerging subject matter authority capable of troubleshooting issues as they emerge.

<h4>Who You Are:</h4>
<h5>Minimum Qualifications:</h5>

<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or other scientific discipline with 3+ years&#39; experience in method development within a GMP/pre-GMP environment. OR</li>
<li>Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or other scientific discipline with 1+ years&#39; experience in method development within a GMP/pre-GMP environment. OR</li>
<li>Ph.D in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or other scientific discipline.</li>
</ul>
<h5>Preferred Qualifications:</h5>
<ul>
<li>Hands-on experience in separation science, notably the theory, operation, data interpretation and troubleshooting of UPLC, RP-HPLC, SEC, HIC and/or IEX.
</li>
<li>Experience with protein analytics and spectroscopy (UV and slope).
</li>
<li>Prior experience working with customers and matrix teams.
</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and digital documentation (modern data acquisition systems and electronic notebooks).

<h4>Qualifications</h4>

<li>MS or PhD in Immunology, Virology, Microbiology, or related field, preferably with deep knowledge of immuno-oncology, cellular metabolism, and/or host-pathogen interactions.

<li>year&#39;s of strong academic or industrial experience using microplate-based instrumentation, preferably in a High Content Screening or High Throughput Screening lab setting.

<li>Experience using Seahorse, BioTek, and ACEA products a plus.
</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of cell-based assays including but not limited to widefield microscopy, confocal microscopy, live cell imaging and impedance, flow cytometry and metabolic assays, as well as a strong foundation in the use of data analysis software programs (such as ImageJ, CellProfiler, FlowJo, or similar).
</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills, including comfort with public speaking, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
</li>
<li>Must be willing to travel 50 to 75%.
