Future-proof your GC lab by switching from helium to hydrogen

Helium supply challenges and rising operational costs are leading more laboratories to explore hydrogen as an alternative carrier gas for gas chromatography. Making the switch successfully, however, depends on understanding how hydrogen affects methods, safety, instrument compatibility, and day-to-day laboratory practice.
In this SelectScience webinar, Dr. Ed Connor, Product Manager at PEAK Scientific, and Tony Taylor, Technical Director at Crawford Scientific, will share practical guidance for transitioning from helium to hydrogen with confidence. Drawing on expertise in GC, GC-MS, chromatography education, and method development, the speakers will address common concerns around hydrogen carrier gas and explain how on-demand hydrogen generation can support more resilient and cost-effective GC workflows.
