Confident Microplastics Analysis in Food with Py-GC Orbitrap MS

Microplastic analysis in complex matrices
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific and Frontier Laboratories for a two-week webinar series exploring how Pyrolysis-GC-MS (Py-GC-MS) is helping laboratories solve some of today's most challenging analytical problems. Learn how Py-GC-MS workflows are being applied to emerging environmental contaminants, regulatory compliance, food safety, and advanced materials characterization.
In this webinar, discover how pyrolysis GC Orbitrap MS enables confident identification and quantification of microplastics in complex food and environmental samples. Learn how streamlined workflows, enhanced selectivity, and targeted and non-targeted analysis support reliable results across challenging matrices, including fishmeal, stormwater, milk, and meat.
What you will learn:
- The advantages of Py-GC-MS for polymer identification, regardless of particle size
- The role of high-resolution accurate-mass technology in improving selectivity, quantitation, and unknown identification
- Best practices for applying targeted and non-targeted workflows to complex food and environmental samples
