Advance your analysis of complex biotherapeutics

Discover how novel reversed-phase column technology, a next-generation bioinert LC system, and Thermo Scientific™ Orbitrap™ mass spectrometry can work together to streamline the characterization of antisense oligonucleotides and antibody-drug conjugates.

Based on the ISC 2026 lunchtime seminar, this webinar presents practical workflows for improving chromatographic separation, optimizing ion-pairing conditions, and enabling multi-level LC-MS characterization. Learn how intact, subunit, and bottom-up approaches can support antibody drug conjugates characterization and detailed profiling of critical post-translational modifications.

Gain practical insights to help accelerate method development, address challenging sample types, and build greater confidence in biotherapeutic analysis.

Key learnings
  • Understand how reversed-phase chromatography supports the analysis of diverse biotherapeutic modalities.
  • Explore the benefits of a bioinert LC platform for sensitive biotherapeutic workflows.
  • Learn how design of experiments can optimize ion-pairing conditions for oligonucleotide LC-MS analysis.
  • See how Orbitrap mass spectrometry enables multi-level ADC characterization.
  • Discover how intact, subunit, and bottom-up workflows support DAR determination and PTM profiling.
Who should attend

This webinar is designed for scientists and analysts working in biopharmaceutical characterization, analytical method development, oligonucleotide and ADC analysis, and LC-MS workflow development. It is particularly relevant to professionals supporting biotherapeutic development, comparability studies, and regulatory readiness.

Presenter: Sara Carillo, PhD (Principal Scientist, Senior Manager, NationalBioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT))

Sara Carillo earned her Ph.D. in chemical sciences from the University of Naples Federico II, where she studied polysaccharides and glycoconjugates using NMR and mass spectrometry. She joined NIBRT in 2015 and is nowPrincipal Scientist, developing MS-based methods to better characterize biomanufacturing processes and biopharmaceutical complexity.

Presenter: Sukhdev Bangar (Senior Product Marketing Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific)

Sukhdev holds a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from De Montfort University and began his career in LC and LC-MS analysis at GSK and AstraZeneca. He later held several roles at Waters in LC-MS applications and product management before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he now leads marketing for the Vanquish analytical LC portfolio.
