Organophosphorus Nerve Agents (OPNA) such as Sarin and VX are toxic chemicals previously used in warfare but are currently banned. However, human exposure could still occur from decommissioning activities, research and terrorism. It is important to have sensitive techniques to identify human exposure.
Presenter Information: Emily Parry, Ph.D. (Application Scientist, Agilent Technologies, Inc.)
Emily Parry received her Ph.D. degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University of California, Davis. She joined Agilent after completing her postdoctoral work at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Her specialty is method development and measurement of emerging contaminants.
