Význam tématu
Microplasty představují nový globální environmentální problém kvůli své perzistenci, schopnosti transportu kontaminantů a snadné inhalaci či požití organizmy. Efektivní a rychlé analytické metody jsou nezbytné pro kvantifikaci a identifikaci polymerních částic v komplexních matricích.
Cíle a přehled studie
Cílem je shrnout aplikace a výkonnost laserové přímé infračervené (LDIR) zobrazovací technologie Agilent 8700 pro analýzu mikroplastů v různých prostředích (mořské, sladkovodní, půdní, potravinové a biologické vzorky) na základě přehledu nedávných publikací.
Použitá metodika a instrumentace
Laser Direct Infrared Imaging (LDIR) Agilent 8700 kombinuje mikroskopii a infračervenou spektroskopii pro automatizovanou vysokovýkonnou analýzu:
- Spektrální rozsah: identifikace polymerů 20–500 µm
- Automatizace: analýza až 1000 částic/fiber za 1–2 h
- Vysoká přesnost (>97 % správné identifikace)
- Minimální potřeba postupu subsamplingu
Hlavní výsledky a diskuse
Analýzy publikací ukazují široké využití LDIR:
- Mořské prostředí: detekce MP v řece Mississippi, estuárech (Great Bay), tropickém Indickém oceánu a akvakultuře; přesné určení typu polymers (PE, PP, PS, PVC, PET).
- Půdní a sladkovodní matrice: mapování MP v zemědělské půdě i lesních půdách, sedimentu, čističkách odpadních vod, septikových nádržích a v městských řekách; vysoká koncentrace částic 10–500 µm, lineární růst s dobou filmového mulčování.
- Podzemní a pitné vody: průnik MP do akviferů a účinnost úpravy vody; sledování přítoku do zátoky Port Phillip a detekce v balené vodě.
- Biologické vzorky: kvantifikace MP v lidském sputu, plicních uzlících (GGN), střevních tkáních prasat, rybích GIT, placenta a mléku; identifikovány převážně PA, PU, PES.
- Spotřební a outdoorové aktivity: uvolňování mikrovláken z obuvi, oblečení a plastových lahví; mobilita částic na turistických stezkách.
Přínosy a praktické využití metody
LDIR nabízí kombinaci rychlosti, automatizace a spolehlivosti:
- Nízká meze detekce (10–20 µm) a specifická polymerní identifikace
- Možnost vysokoprůchodného měření v laboratorních i terénních studiích
- Minimalizace subsamplingových a postprocessingových chyb
- Vhodnost pro standardizaci metodik v environmentální analytice
Budoucí trendy a možnosti využití
Vývoj směřuje k integraci LDIR s dalšími technikami (FTIR, Raman), využití pokročilých ML/deep learning modelů pro automatickou klasifikaci a validaci, aplikaci laserové mikrodisekce (LMPC) pro přesné odstraňování a přesné kvantitativní studie jednotlivých částic, a k zavádění jednotných protokolů pro monitoring MNPs.
Závěr
Přehled recentních studií potvrzuje, že Agilent 8700 LDIR výrazně zrychluje a zpřesňuje detekci mikroplastů v různých prostředích. Díky automatizaci a spolehlivé identifikaci polymerů má LDIR klíčový potenciál pro standardizaci analýz a podporu dalších ekologických i zdravotních výzkumů.
